Welcome to the ‘unauthorised’ Swindon Wildcats IHC website. There is already an unofficial site [here] and as unauthorised means
the same I decided to use that title. Nothing on this site is sanctioned by Swindon Wildcats IHC and everything on here that could be
considered editoral is purely my opinion or the opinion of the contributor unless otherwise noted. I hope that there will be
contributors on here other than me but in the meantime please enjoy your visit and let friends and fans know about this site and

adding his name to the list fo returning Wildcats for the
upcoming 2012-2013 season;
Last season’s top scorer Aaron Nell has signed on the
dotted line for the team again. This is great news for the
Wildcats as Aaron brings an import’s scoring prowess
without taking up an import’s slot!

the island and joins Wightlink Raiders - bad luck Nick but
good luck too!

Slava Koulikov pulls out negotiations to buy the Hull Stingrays and if they fold it
means Milton Keynes have an automatic right to join the Elite League but they’ve
already said ‘no thanks’ and you can’t blame ‘em - why bankrupt your club just to be
cannon-fodder for Nottingham Panthers et al?
So Koulikov leaves Manchester to become head coach at Slough Jets instead - it’ll be
interesting to see what he does there.Shaun Thompson last season's Supporter's
Player of the Year has commited to the Bracknell Bees for the upcoming season -
good news for the Bees fans

Ollie Bronnimann leaves Basingstoke Bison - is he staying in the UK? If so who is
going to get him?
Coach Gareth Cox will stay on to coach the Bracknell Bees

leaves Basingstoke Bison - back to the Wildcats? Who knows? I do, back to the Bees!
Matt Towe leaves Guildford Flames whilst Curtis Huppe re-signs.Ondrej Lauko, James
Ferrara and Tom Carlon all re-sign for the Peterborough Phantoms - good players if
the Phantoms can back them up with similar standard players then their fortunes may
improve next season, a big IF though. The future of Elite League Hull Stingrays
appears not to be settled latest news says there is no definite owner yet and the ice-
time contract is likely to be put out to tender but management say they are committed
to Elite League membership - what? Even if there is no owner and no rink to play out
of? Sometime British ice-hockey needs a good hard slap in the face!
Kurt Reynolds becomes Basingstoke Bison coach Doug Sheppards’ first signing as he
returns to the ‘herd’ - I have a sneaking feeling that Sheppard will improve
Basingstoke this season.
Adam Greener has been given the task of building the Slough Jets team until a new
coach can be appointed - suppose he signs on loads of players the ‘new coach’
doesn’t like?
Sheffield Steeldogs have no affliation with Hull Stingrays - jolly good!
Chris Allen would still return as a player for the Peterborough Phanotms - more
powerplay goals versus Swindon?
Scott Mackenzie has left Telford Tigers and is apparently signing for an unnamed
EPIHL team - this would be a good signing for any team.
Nick Poole re-signs for the MK Lightnings this is his eleventh season at the club - fair
play, that is loyalty unheard of in this day an age.
Chris Wiggins and Nicky Chinn do not sign on for Basingstoke - so where are they off
to?
Mat Colclough has joined the Isle of Wight Raiders from Basingstoke Bison - smaller
rink more shots?
